Tarwirri is a membership body comprising of Indigenous law students and legal professionals. It aim is to increase and enhance the representation, professional profile and excellence of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander legal professionals abd law students withim the Victorian legal landscape and broader community.
- Law Students: To engage with and encourage Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander law students during their studies and support their transition into the legal profession.
- Legal Professionals: Support the achievement of members’ indvidual aspirations and career developemt by respresenting and promoting Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander legal professionals.
- Legal Sector: Be the representative body on behalf of our membership in the Victorian legal landscape.
- Victorian Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Communities: Recognise our plance within the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Communities: by contributing to the awereness of legal and policy issues affecting Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Communities.
