In October 2023, Tarwirri made a submission to the Independent Review of the National Legal Assistance Partnership 2020-2025.

The purpose of the submission is to outline the strong requirement for increased funding for Community Legal Centres to be specifically directed towards improving and addressing cultural safety concerns and requirements in workplaces that impact Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
