Tarwirri constantly strives to expand and enhance opportunities and supports for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander lawyers, law gradates and law students through collaboration with our networks. 

  • Law Reform Submissions

    As the number one association for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander legal professionals and law students in Victoria, Tarwirri has the responsibility to take part in law reform submissions. Tarwirri also participates in working groups and sits on external committees. 

  • Networking and Social Events

    Tarwirri holds networking and social events to provide members a culturally safe space to meet and build lasting connections with each other and members of the legal sector.

  • Education Sessions and Support Assistance

    Tarawirri organises and participates in education sessions to increase awareness in the legal profession and support its members and broader communities.

     

  • Training and Further Education

    Tarwirri provides training and education for its members by partnering with law firms and organisations to provide Tarwirri members with various opportunities to attend training and education sessions for further professional development.
