How long have you been a member of Tarwirri?
I have been a member for 11 years.

Why did you join Tarwirri?
I wanted to connect with Mob who are on their journey to becoming lawyers and have support and guidance along the way.

How has Tarwirri supported you over the years?
Tarwirri has provided networking opportunities, professional development resources, and direct one-on-one support when needed.

Why did you decide to study law and become a lawyer/legal professional?
I was unfairly dismissed from my workplace for requesting flexible working after maternity leave, so I decided to take my employer to the Fair Work Commission. This process inspired me to enrol in Law school, become a lawyer, and advocate for those who need legal assistance.

What area of law do you find most interesting?
Abuse Law is an area of law I am most passionate about because it allows me to advocate for justice and provide support to those who have experienced trauma and injustice, helping survivors seek the recognition and compensation they deserve.

If you could describe Tarwirri in less than three words, what would it be?
Supportive, empowering, inclusive.
