Anton D’Amico

Treasurer

Anton is a proud Ngarrindjeri man currently working as a junior solicitor at NAAJA in the Alice Springs office. He was previously the Melbourne Law Student Society Indigenous Representative. Anton has most recently done a winter clerkship with KWM. He has also worked as a paralegal for Julian McMahon on two prominent Indigenous deaths in custody coronial inquests being Veronica Nelson and Kumanjayi Walker. Anton has ambition later down the line to work as a criminal barrister.

Anton wishes to pursue this career path because he believes it will give him the capacity and platform to undertake advocacy within Indigenous criminal justice issues. Anton is keen to assist on the board as he is passionate about opening up opportunities for Indigenous law students.

Anton is also a big Richmond Tigers supporter and enjoys reading in his spare time.
